The founder and CEO of Fizz, Ted Wright has been at the forefront of word
of mouth marketing since he helped Neal Stewart's team
bring back Pabst Blue Ribbon in 2000. Often quoted correctly in the press,
Ted leads his team of word of mouth marketing professionals from
Fizz's offices in Atlanta. Over the last decade, Fizz has
become global leader in word of mouth marketing with clients on every
continent and the status of "go to" agency for
successful CMO's in the beverage, entertainment,
hospitality, cosmetics and CPG segments.
Ted and his team at Fizz have been honored for their work with a variety of
awards and the occasional bomb threat. They take neither seriously. An
alumnus of Booz Allen & Hamilton, Ted also holds an MBA with honors from
The University of Chicago, enjoys great bourbon and drives too fast.
Conversation naturally occurs. Word of Mouth Marketing occurs when
customers become brand advocates and share their stories. Ted is an expert at
harnessing and focusing those conversations against marketing and sales
objectives. Amplified Word of Mouth Marketing campaigns encourage and
accelerate brand story sharing in new or existing groups because
recommendations from a friend or trusted acquaintance are significantly more
effective in getting consumers to purchase.
In Ted's keynote address, the audience will walk away with
an understanding of Word of Mouth Marketing basics, big ideas and best
practices. Attendees will leave with a framework for building successful Word
of Mouth Marketing programs. Ted employs the perfect blend of engaging case
studies, sound insights and humor to energize the audience.
